Help with Refractors
Hey,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me any good tips for determining if some of my cards are refractors. I've gotten a few tips in the past, but I still have a hard time determinig if they are refractors or not so I have put them up on here for you guys to see if they are or not.
thanks

Its hard to tell from some scans, they don't always scan well.
However, Topps cards will generally say the word REFRACTOR somewhere on the back if the card is indeed a refractor. Also, the front of the card should have a rainbow look to it when put in light. I hope this helps - thanks.

Deadshot stated it well. From what I can tell, they look like normal cards from the front - but again, it's hard to gauge the rainbow shine from scans.
Also - your Ray Allen one isn't showing. I can only view the Kareem and T-Mac.

if you have a refractor in a stack of non refractors from the same set, you will ne able to tell right away. Like the others said, if you catch the light on the card it will give you a faint rainbow look over the card surface.
the scans don't look like refractors, but that could just be the scan and not the card

Refractors will always have the "refractor" somewhere around the number of the card

newer ones will but not all of them. I'm not exactly sure of the year topps started that, but from 1993 to maybe 1997 or so won't have refractor on the back.
