    My latest interesting find.

    Hey guys, im a fairly new member... i had an interesting night tonight so i thought i would share.

    I have an internet ad up in my local area saying i buy vintage cards. Over the years i have got some great leads from it, and met some interesting people.

    I recently met a guy and bought some mid 70s vintage hockey stuff from him. He mentioned he had " some " of the 1979 OPC cards in a box and a few Gretzky rookies. I figured id follow up on it later as i had spent my maximum for the night anyways.

    Tonight i went back to check it out... he does indeed have 5 Gretzky rookies ( 4 OPC and a Topps ) of which im going to aquire at some point.

    What i found even more surprising was how many cards from that year he actually had. Heres a pic of what i came home with tonight... the sorting should keep me busy for a week or two.

    It should mostly be commons.. but theres at least 2000 cards and i didnt exactly pay a ton 8)

    Anyone assembling a 1979 OPC set should probably let me know if they need anything!
