Yeah, I don't understand it.Maybe ebay does this when there are a certain number of people watching an item(?).I mean it was there when I started the auction. Then I noticed yesterday that it was gone.I just thought I wasn't seeing it because I'm the seller. There are about 30 people watching this,so is it possible ebay lifts the BIN if they think there's a good chance it will go for more?

this happened the other day to me , but was a reverse of roles ... i put a item in my watchlist at $3 BIN, i know i shudda just bought it ... 30 mins later i went back to buy it, and the BIN option had disappered, and it ended up selling for $7

Very weird. They have been making changes to the site lately so perhaps this is a glitch.I haven't been on ebay that long, so I don't know how long this has been going on

Its called a bidding war, sometimes buyers get caught up with the "I must own it" feeling

Once there is someone bid on the item, the buy it now will be gone. (Unless you set the minimum price. I don't know how since I didn't sell on eBay. In that case, if the minimum doesn't reach, the buy it now will still be there)
