Western Conference matchups are set!
Chicago and Dallas both lost their games tonight which mean Chicago made the playoffs.
Here are the matchups:
1.Vancouver vs. 8.Chicago
2.San Jose vs. 7.Los Angeles
3.Detroit vs. 6.Phoenix
4.Anaheim vs. 5.Nashville
So what are your predictions and thoughts?

I think Vancouver is the best team in the conference, but I also believe they are the team facing the most pressure. They haven't become konwn for playoff success, and now they have to face their nemesis in the first round. If the Canucks can't hold in the first round, I think they'll have the same playoff reputation as the Sharks. They've got the talent, they just need to perform.
As for picking a winner out of the conference, I'm honestly not confident enough to make a pick. I think those teams are all pretty close, although I think it's likely to be the Canucks or Wings.

Never happening.
Absolutely livid the Kings couldn't beat the ducks once to clinch a top 6 spot. I hate the Sharks and their slimey players more than anyone in the world and I'm going to break something when they lose. Our only chance is if Saskatoon Blades lose and we call up Schenn.

It's a shame the Preds are up against the Ducks as I think both teams could progress given different opponents.
1.Vancouver vs. 8.Chicago
2.San Jose vs. 7.Los Angeles
3.Detroit vs. 6.Phoenix
4.Anaheim vs. 5.Nashville
Would like to see LA proceed past San Jose, but with their injuries, I cannot see it.

I see Phoenix winning in 7 after how Detroit has been very inconsistent and Phoenix has a much better defense this year. IMO
