I really liked "The Hammer" by Dave Schultz...awesome read about the broadstreet bullies, gives some very cool inside stuff about players like Clarke and the Coach Shero

Definitely Don Cherry Hockey stories, I enjoyed them. Plus the shorter stories allows you to read a few and put the book down for a break.

    have two recommendations:

slapshot original: the man, the foil, and the legend

shorthanded: the untold story of the seals: hockey's most colorful team

If you are into hockey history, Gord Stellick and Damian Cox wrote a book I think was entitled 1967. It was a book on the last year the Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup. However, it went beyond just the 1967 season. It described how the team was put together by Punch Imlach, and the shortsightedness of the Leaf management - i.e. letting Gerry Cheevers go, missing out on the opportunity to claim Brad Park and Bobby Orr, who they protected and didn't protect in the expansion draft.
There are numerous books on the last Maple Leafs cup win, but this one was more comprehensive than the others that I have read.

I really like the books that Damian Cox writes. The 2 biographies that I know of that he has out right now is Martin Brodeur beyond the crease (one of my favourite books). It talks in the point of view of Brodeur. Cox also has an ovechkin book out, but unfortunately it is not in the point of view, but is still really good even though iv only read parts of it.

I have a bunch of other books, so if you wanna know anymore, just pm me :)
