I agree that athletes should go to the pros if they are good enough to contribute. Anyway about having athletes that don't want to be in school being a distraction to other kids, my question is how possiblt could these athletes be regular students. Take for example basketball. If you play for the team and you mkae the NCAA tournament it is possible for you to be away from school for at least a month.

I agree, if he starts out bad the media will be all over him and put 10x as much pressure on him as their already is/will be

Lebron
Being from cleveland and seeing him play i believe he will have a much bigger impact than Kobe or any kid out of high school ever he is simply phenomonal he in my opinion would be a first team nba right now.During the off season he was working out with the cavs (lucas got suspened 2 games for it) and word has no one could come close to gaurding him he was 17
