Rumor Roundup: Will Rangers trade Gaborik?
BY: Lyle Richardson
Has Marian Gaborik played his final regular season game with the New York Rangers?
That's what Larry Brooks of the New York Post wondered Saturday, pointing out Gaborik had been benched in the third period of each of the team's “must-win” games earlier in the week.
Gaborik has three more seasons remaining on his contract at a pricey $7.5 million cap hit per season. He was the Blueshirts’ top scoring player last year with 42 goals and 86 points, but this season injuries limited him to only 22 goals and 48 points in 62 games.

Doubt he's tradeable, not worth buying out as he still performs, and he always has the potential to bounce back and have a great season. He'll stay a Ranger.

Who would be their trade partner? Don't think there will be much of a lineup to take his 7 + million cap hit

They could take DiPietro and we'd take Gabby, then they could bury DiPietro in the minors.
