Who gets helped by the 2 day layoff between games The Caps or the Rangers.I hate to say it but any momentum the Rangers got from their win on sunday surely will be gone by wednesday night.

I think the caps will get more help from the extra day off, which could mean this series only sees 5 games

both teams are having trouble generating offense so there might not be any momentum in any direction right now. i expect this series to continue to be low scoring with the emphasis on defense and the goalies.
honestly though, i don't think it'll matter who the winner of this series is. neither team looks like they can keep up with the amount of scoring going on in any of the other series. sure the Caps have the potential but it's either their struggling badly with their offense or the Rangers are REALLY shutting them down.

Rangers up 3-zip after two periods. This one could go the distance, and given the choice between Lundqvist and whichever Caps goalie they opt for in a potential game 7 situation, I'll go with King Henrik.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Okay just saw the replays of all the goals, stinking refs keep swallowing their whistles, goal number 2 by the caps should've been whistled dead.

Now the refs are helping the Caps out defensively by getting in the way to prevent a dubinsky breakaway,I'm going to bed.

2nd OT... my guess is that Caps will fail again in crunch time after rallying, like they do so often
