    Quentin Richardson A Knick?

The Knicks and Suns have reportedly have made a deal that would send Quentin Richardson and a future first round pick to the Knicks for Kurt Thomas. The deal is not completed yet though, according to both teams.

I like this trade and I don't like this trade as a Knick fan. I like it because Q-Rich is a great scorer and would be good for Marbury, also we get another pick but I don't like it because we lose defense and Richardson costs more than Kurt Thomas.

    What do you guys think?

I feel sorry for QRich because he just signed as a free agent with the Suns last yr to be part of the run & gun Suns. But that's the nature of the biz. I think it's a good trade for the Knicks. However I take everything Isiah Thomas does with a grain of salt.

So the Knicks will have 3 shooters now. Marbury, Crawford, and Richardson. Honestly I think two is enough and in this league you need experience and size to win. Good trade for the Suns...not for the Knicks.

i think it is a good trade for both of them... the suns get defense and size and the knicks get talent.... honestly what has thomas done to help the team win in the last couple years... draft a big guy and you have a beginning foundation for the next couple years

i dun't really get it the knicks need to get bigger they were already small and like last in shot blocking.. And now they trade their best interior defender and undersized center/ true power forward for a sf who shoots 3s. Are knicks trying to run n gun like the suns and go small?!

i think isiah has realized he will not be competing for the championship for a few years and kurt thomas is 33 or 34 and not necessarily going to be a decent player for too many more years... Q-Rich is 25 and someone, along with marbury, you could start a team around... honestly Kurt Thomas is just not that guy...

i would like to see the knicks draft a guy like bynum or villenueva that coule bring toughness inside.. i think players such as bogut and channing frye just dont have the mental toughness to compete in NY... maybe even chris taft but that would be taking a huge chance

Knowing the Knicks and there busts, Taft would be a great pick, lol.

But I think the Knicks should sign Zydranus Ilgauskus and draft a PG.

Forgot about Allan Houston, when he's healthy (which isn't very often), he can shoot the ball pretty good.
