Im surprised how many Penguin Auto RCs there are...(Tangradi, Nick Johnson, Alex Pechursky)

A lot of people HATE the players double signing cards (Team and Canada), I think its cool albeit a bit lazy. If I pulled a SOTT-8, Id rather get 8 unique signatures.

I'm thinking of going after the Sign of the Times Duals or Triples. The Triples would be more expensive obviously, but there are only ten of them as compared with 58 Duals.

I don't have any players to chase, but I like those SOTT so I think I'll go after something.

The Oilers multi-SOTT is complete overkill. Is it really necessary to have Hall-Eberle-Paajarvi-Plante AND Hall-Eberle-Paajarvi-Plante-Arsene AND Hall-Eberle-Paajarvi-Plante-Arsene-Motin???

I will admit but that the SOTT-7 with Gretzky-Messier-Kurri-Anderson-Hall-Eberle-Paaajarvi would be amazing, but the others are a bit too much.

Also, the SOTT-8 with Hall-Hall-Subban-Subban-Kadri-Kadri-Eberle-Eberle doesn't make sense to me. They never all played on the same Team Canada together to the best of my knowledge.

Aside from those gripes, it should be a great product once again this year.

I agree that it's overkill, but it's not surprising. They love to get the hot rookies on as many cards as they can, and the Oilers have some good ones.

Still, it could be worse - like Tavares having 10 Cup Shields cards last year.

Simple marketing ploy by Upper Deck. They continue to add useless cards, and impossible to pull cards, in the hope that you will keep on buying boxes.

They may only be restricted to 11 products by Sport, by year, but they are certainly making about 5,000 cases plus or more of every product that used to have a shorter print quota.

I bet this SPA has about a 20,000 case print.
