    Is KSA Grading any good?

The card looks great and was just wondering if anyone could help me out. Thanks.

They are alright but like all grading companies thier grading is subjective and not always correct. If it is a high value older card go to psa. If it is a new card go to Beckett or KSA.

BGS, PSA, and SGC are typically considered the top 3. PSA and SGC are usually for vintage and BGS is best for modern cards. I'm really not sure about KSA, I've heard of them but am unsure about how they compare to the others.

Do a quick forum search and you will find a couple of good reads.

From what I know of KSA, you need to be more careful and really inspect the card yourself, especially if you are paying a premium for the card. Many times their cards cross-over to other services between 1 and 2 grades lower and their auction 'values' tend to reflect that (i.e. You should be able to get a KSA 9 for the price of a KSA 7). I have also seen several instances where cross-overs 'fail' because the KSA-graded card was 'altered' (usually trimmed).

Remember, it depends a lot of what card and what the value of the card is. With KSA, it's important to do all your homework.

    Good luck!
