Stamp Increase?
was there some kind of stamp increse or sumthing? cuz my friend told me there was but i cant find anything about it online. I use forever stamps and put 1 on the Envelope and 1 on the SASE. just dont want any coming back due to postage. thanks

Forever stamps are good for the life of the stamp. You have no worries as long as you use them, far as i know.
as for the stamp increase, They tried to increase the price of a postage stamp but was voted down. Sure they will try again here in the coming months or when ever that kind of stuff comes up. sure its once or twice a year it gets discussed.

yesterday my local PO said postage was supposed to increase tomorrow but they were vague on it so i was confused......

for your normal envelopes your fine, but for the 2 oz envelopes, it takes a 44c and a 17c. now with the increase it will be a 44c and a 20c stamp. so 64 cents total instead of 61.

padded envelopes jumped big - 1.22 for 1 ounce , 1.39 for 2 ounce and 1.56 for 3 ounce are all now 1.71 as of the 17th.
