Fair Offer?

Just looking for some opinions. I'd like to have this particular card for my collection but I'm really not sure on what a fair offer would be and it's been awhile since I've seen one sell. I was thinking right around $15-20 or is that too low? The card is on eBay for a BIN OBO of $69.95 which is quite ridiculous in my opinion. If the patches were better, I'd be willing to offer more but this is not the case. Should I play the waiting game and hope for a better copy to emerge? What would be a fair price for this card?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I would say 15-20 is fair. I like Bishop but he has yet to make a signifcant impact and the patches are plain. Bishop has good potential though.

IMO, $69.95 for a card featuring those swatches is not a fair price. Still, since it's numbered to just 15 copies, it might not surface on eBay again for a little while. And even if it does, who says the patches won't be plain white? It's your decision, do what you feel is right.

I paid $68 and $74 for same card of Steve Mason, mind you the patches were all at least 3 color and one was 5 color. I think because of the plain patches and the low demand for Bishop IMO $20 is fair. I highly doubt the seller will accept this offer but its worth a shot. Another one may pop up again and be more so its hard to decided whether to go for it or not. I once overpayed for a card /10 cuz I had never seen another one. Well within a week, 2 more popped up for less money. You just never know. If you want it for your PC, and can afford to pay a little extra than go for it. Like someone said, the next one could have plain white patches.

I don't mean to be ignorant when I say this, but from everything you've probably read on this forum (and probably others) is...
'Fair' to you may mean squat to the seller.
Convincing us or yourself that the Bishop isn't a $70 card is easy. You need to convince the seller that it's worth less than the $20 you might think is 'fair', though, otherwise he may be willing to sit it out. The best thing you can do is start a conversation with the seller. See if he's willing to negotiate, see if he's willing to acknowledge that his card features weaker patches. Go from there.
[My opinion on value: If it's a card you really want, I think $15-20 is probably shaded slightly to the low end. At that point, you are getting into territory where 'random' Blues collectors will pick up hard-signed patch autos. If the Bishop means something for you or your collection, I wouldn't think an extra $5-10 is unreasonable. That's not to say you couldn't get it on auction, one day, for $15-20 or lower, but here it is, no potential shilling, no potential bs. That peace of mind should be worth something. From there, it's what can you negotiate...]

Meet him half way ..... you want to pay $20ish ... he wants closer to $70. Is an extra $20 - $25 going to hurt you, probably not. Ive seen 1 Moller since release, and yes I overpaid for it ... take into consideration that there are probably MANY cases of OPC Premier not opened, that will not be opened for a very long time

Well said. To me that card is worth less than $10, but that's because I don't collect him. However, if I were to collect him and considering the significance of that card (and the fact that it's in your wantlist), I'd pay $50 plus shipping on it.
