It is going to get even worse with Panini holding exclusive rights to certain sports. They are trying to make it so if you want to collect anyone in pro sports you are going to have to buy their products.

I just scan ebay for the $0.99 auctions w/ no reserve. I put in a low max bid and 99 times out of 100 I get out bid, but every now and then you get lucky and get a $12 box. I just got an 08/09 Upper Deck MVP box for $10 the other week and a $12 box of 07/08 fleer. Pulled two derrick rose rookies and a GU Pau Gasol from the MVP Also several silver rookie cards. Not bad for $10. But you gotta be persistent and check every day for new boxes that get added.
