so what do u guys see in his future after this season pending were the bruins finish in the playoffs.. i mean u got rask in the wings but thomas is still a awsome goalie i just hope the bruisn can keep him for a few more years and maybe move rask.

It would be foolish to move Rask since if Thomas ever goes down or starts having a bad season again like in 2009-10 without a sure backup, the Bruins would likely miss a playoff year. Every team has to have a sure backup or they will not get far.
Also, since Thomas is now 37 and if he ever gets injured, the Bruins would not get cap relief due to the current CBA (plus his no trade/movement in contract). It's unknown how much longer he can play at this level.
His current cap hit is 5,000,000.
