I also live on Vancouver Island. I've been to one shop in Duncan and one shop in Nanaimo - both are very expensive.

I've found two online Canadian shops that seem reasonable;

Cloutsnchara, and
Canada Card World (SCF member)

When I've visited Mainland BC, I'll usually go to Wiser's Wide World of Collectibles, in Langley. Their prices are vey good, and you may get an even better deal on a case.
