Help with info?
It seems that we have a dwindling number of baseball players from the 1930's and 1940's left! Does anyone know where to find a list of these links to the past of our National Pastime? Has the last person who played with or against Babe Ruth passed or are there any left? Are there any members of the Dodgers still around who played with Jackie when he broke the color barrier? Are there still players around who has to step into the batters box against Dizzy Dean and Carl Hubbell? Is anyone who had anything to do with the very frist all star game in 1933 still around? Seriously where can I find a list of players left from the 1930's and 1940's?

Looking into this a little I found a cool site! Enter name into search in left side and it comes up telling you alive or dead! Those folks working on autographing a vintage set might want to use this. Here is a link:

If you are a member at SCN and you search a name for TTM they will have a little icon if they are deceased.

This.
Plus if you're a paid member you can browse teams by year (see full rosters telling who who signs etc.). SCN ftw.
