Is the NHL the only sports league that has "Make up calls". If you missed a call you missed a call. Seems insane to call another penalty 5 minutes later because you "missed" the last one. Has to be one of the dumbest things in sports.

    Disagree.
The Hit on Bieksa could of been called a penalty and same with the hook on Kesler. You cant take to many uncalled penalty's. The Ref has to call one if it gets to out of hand. Like it did IMO

Really funny that no one is saying anything about Kesler...

I lost a lot of respect for that guy. He's a good player and a well rounded defender, but holding onto Shea Weber's stick like a little punk isn't going to get you anywhere in this league.

Weber repeatedly tried to get it free, and the refs called that "hooking"?

What a joke. What a joke. That makes me pretty damn mad. I don't know what else to say. We were screwed.

A powerplay because Kesler held Weber's stick, and it led to the winning goal.

Even if we HAD won the game, I would still be about this move by kesler, so it's not like I'm not able to take a loss.

Great game. Bad call, bad move by a 2nd rate talent.

I think kesler did hold on to the stick, but alot of people do that. And I am sure more than half of the people on Nashville would do the same thing in overtime where the game can go either way.

Shouldn't have been a hooking penalty.
    Should've been a holding penalty.
The right guy got called for it though. He had one hand off the stick and was holding Kesler in a bear hug. Wrong penalty, right guy.

It was a bad call - but just par for the course thus far in the 2011 playoffs - I would be upset if I was a Nashville fan as well but it's not like Vancouver "stole" the game. They outplayed the Preds for most of the game and capitalized when given an opportunity. On to game four!

no, weber was trying to get his stick out, and Kesler was clearly holding onto him, wrong guy...

wrong call. it was just bad. maybe the Nucks win anyways... I'm not about them losing... I'm that they lost in the fashion of that call making them shorthanded.

    terrible...

    yeah onto game 4

oh wait, what about Jannik Hansen?

He's a little clown too... laying on the puck in the slot.

there's a certain respect to play with and the NUcks are playing like a team that is afraid to lose, just makes me sick

Nashville should go back to tripping Luongo behind the play when the ref isn't looking. That's respectable hockey.
