    mailing cards to comc

just curious how many cards people send it at a time? i sent in a few but thinking i probably should have sent in alot more. also i am guessing most people send them in, in a 500 or 330 count box and penny sleves? is that accurate. thanks in advance for helping a newbie

Hi, I'm Jeremy and I work for Check Out My Cards. Normally I'd let the COMC community speak for itself, but I guess this thread slipped through the cracks.
Price-wise, the most economical number of cards to send in is any multiple of 500, since we charge $3.00 per batch (a batch is any number of cards from 1 to 500) in addition to our 20-cent-per-card processing fee. Folks send cards to us in individual penny sleeves a lot, but we also get cards secured in team bags and other ways. 550-count boxes are pretty common; a couple of them will fit nicely into a USPS flat-rate box. Also, it's a good idea to secure the cards so they're not sliding around north/south as well as side-to-side.
    Thanks!
