MLB teams hotel in Toronto
Hi !
I will go to Toronto this summer to see the Yankees play against the Blue Jays.
I collect IP hockey autographs , but it will be my first time for baseball.
Is there any chance to get Yankees or Blue Jays players before the game at the stadium or hotel ? If yes, do you know where the Yankees sleep ?
Thanks a lot for your help

I'm guessing the Yankees hotel will be a waste of time, I don't speak from experience though.

Its been probably been 7 or 8 years since I graphed Toronto. I went to a Yankees game and nobody signed during batting practice on the Yanks. You can try getting some Yankees if they take taxis to the stadium. I did not try getting Jays during batting practice. The Jays park in an underground garage. A few players did stop and sign. If i remember correct, the Jays office entrance is on the south side of the stadium and the garage entrance is across the street from the office entrance. Any players who come in by taxi will enter there. The visiting team bus goes down the ramp into the garage
I also did an Oriole game, the O's signed during spring training and before and after the game.
I never do team hotels. So, i do not know where the visiting team hotel is.
Good Luck and report back.

Granderson has always been a great person in Detroit, and even since his move to NYC. If you want to expect something, that would be it.
However, my advice would be what has been said thus far. A-Rod, Jeter, Rivera, and the rest of the bunch are not worth the gamble as they sign, but rarely. The Jays are a much better team - I know you stand a decent chance with guys like Bautista, Hill, Drabek, and Lind. If you can track them down, I would go for some of those younger guys as they have built a good, young core to build around and could be competing easily in 3 years.
