Rashard Mendenhall defends Bin Laden
This guy is a complete idiot. Steelers should drop him now and no team should pick him up. This is the same dip that supported and still supports adrian petersons slavery comments. If there is one thing I hate more than ignorant race hustlers, its 9-11 truthers. Mendenhall is both.

Wait you HATE 9-11 TRUTHERS? Just because people dont believe what the White House , which has come out multiple times and said that they control what the media reports, he is in the wrong? Dont believe everything you read. There is more evidence that 9-11 was an inside job than there is that it was an act of "terrorism". If he gets fined by the NFL for expressing how he feels, who is in the wrong there? Open your eyes. America is not what it seems.

He What?
Our Great Country is still recovering from 911 almost 10 years latter. That day is still and always will be etched in my mind. I am a devout Steeler fan. I was born in Pitts, PA. Mendenhall should of kept his mouth shut and play Football like he's paid to do. Hope he gets the BOOT and gets BLACK BALLED from the NFL..........Whats wrong with these Athletes today. The more fame they get, the more outlandish they're statements are. I know that in our free nation we have the right of free speech. We have the right to voice our opinions. But come on! Use some tact.

I guess when someone admits to doing something, then they didn't do it, right? Just like the NFL is slavery, the government killed it's own.
Do you question where the jerseys for your game used cards come from as well?Last edited by BU54CB; 05-03-2011 at 03:52 PM.

I will not humor you. Nobody else should either. The kind of person who truly believes this crap is not a rational person who can be reasoned with. What you are suggesting is offensive and it makes me sick.

I love how tolerant we all are of each others beliefs and opinions. Nice to know where our discourse in this country stands. He's his own person and can say and feel however he wants. He knows no more or less about 9/11 than anyone else, so why should we chastise him? Let him say what he believes, free country.

how exactly is he defending bin Laden? just sounds like he doesn't get why people are out in the streets partying that he died and looking like a mirror image of the middle east that was on camera celebrating when the towers fell that disgusted every U.S. citizen

When individuals express their opinion, then those opinions are subject to rebuttal and scrutiny.
While Mendenhall has freedoms like everyone else, he foolishly forgets the fact that he is an employee and representative of a team and league. I'm quite certain that the league and players do not want Mendenhall's comments seen as representative of either group.
I work for a Japanese company, if I made similar public comments comments about Japan and it's citizens, I'd expect the same reaction except I'd be out of a job. (edit: I meant to say if I made public disparaging comments about the tsunami and nuclear disaster victims.)Last edited by BU54CB; 05-03-2011 at 05:37 PM.
