Minor League Baseball TTM

Hey guys I was thinking about sending off some requests to some minor league players and was just looking for some input on deciding who to send to. Should I go with a list like top 100 prospects or All Star teams for the AAA All Star Game and Futures Game? Just want some input on getting together a list of players that 1.) I would have a lot of success with TTM and 2.) That will probably end up making it to the next level and possibly being quite successful at the next level.

Check out the Top 25 prospects as a starting point...send out a handful there and then look into the next 25. I know that, within the top 25, there are a few guys that sign real well (i.e. Dustin Ackley - Jamison Taillion)

I would agree with that.

I like printing the BaseballAmerica prospect lists and sending to those guys throughout the season. BA has a great list of the Top 30 prospects for each team and where they are playing. I have that list in a spreadsheet and track my progress with it. If you did a search for "Where are the top 30", the list should be the top returned option. It's a nice list and loaded with signers.

Thanks guys. I just checked out the top 100 for 2011 and have sent to a lot of the guys towards the top so I think I'm just going to send to some of the lower ranked guys and hopefully they'll be more likely to sign now then when/if they move up in the coming years.

minorleaguebaseball.com is a great site for locating players with their player search and for links to the teams where you can look up addresses to mail to them at. Yes use the BA list as they are the experts on prospects, but MiLB is easiest way to find your players!
