    Dollar Tree Break

We have several Dollar Trees in the area, but we have one HUGE Dollar Tree. It has 10 times the amount of cards in the other stores - not an an exaggeration.

Anyway, among othewr things, they have a load of 09 Goodwin Champions. every pack is a winner for our family since my youngest son collects mini cards of anyone and anything.

Got 10 packs - for $10 of course.

    Here's the highlights:

Cal Ripken Jr 20th anniversary Retrospective
Ronald Reagan Citizens of the Century

    minis:
    Ichiro black Border GypsyQueen
    Tiger Woods
    Mike Schmidt
Justin Upton Black Border Gypsy Queen

And a Bo Jackson game used card.

That's our first "hit" from the Dollar Tree

We really enjoyed it. It's nice that you can find a decent pack of cards for $1, it really makes collecting with the kids a lot more fun.

Yes, a lot of them are junk. But there are some nice inserts to be had. And like I said, with 2 boys, it makes breaking affordable!

Thanks for reminding me about cards at the Dollar Tree. Although there probably won't be any hits, it's nice just to open some packs.

Yes it is nice to open something affordable.

And I went back today and picked up 5 more Goodwin packs and pulled a Jeter 20th Anniversary game used card - I didn't know there were game used versions of those inserts.

Anyway, 2 hits in 2 days from the DT! And of course I got 5 more minis for my son.
