Kovy...I agree with you 100%, I will tell you, I do love the bgs holder it's attractive, nice looking, I will love to see psa and GAI cards on a better looking holder, but out off psa, bgs and GAI I think bgs is the worse on grading today, but most collector chose to send cards to them because of the better looking holder and because they know that if there is money to be made it has to be slab on a bgs holder for top notch $$$, ..

It is really sad.
I used to love BGS and most of my BIG key PC cards are BGS graded.
But going forward, I will probably never submit cards by myself again.
In fact, I may never give them my business again. I rather just buy the raw card and enjoy it for what it is than the presumed value of a BGS slabbed card which in reality only exists if:
1. the card grades at 9.5 or higher AND
2. actually sell the card - which I don't want to do if the card is PC.

Thanks for the input guys. I submitted the cards because I had a free grading certificate. I'm not really looking to flip them, but I just feel ripped by that terrible centering grade. Looks like the last time I will be sending anything to them.

BGS really is a joke. Im currently having a problem with them myself on a decent sized submission.
As for your card, Im not sure how it got an 8 for centering. Grading is just too subjective, they must have a bunch of crosseyed graders because some cards come out way too good, and some way below.
As for the card can not be over .5 above its lowest grade, I thought so as well. However, last week I got back in my last shipment of a Duncan Showcase Legacy RC /250. Centering was a 9.5. Corners 9.5. Edges 10. And the surface was an 8. It came back a 9. Some things are weighted more heavily, so maybe thats why it got a 9, but Im not certain.

I'm thinking about cracking the case and submitting it to PSA.
