Question Buying my first Trading Card

    Hi,

It's my first time in here... Because I have a question for you to answer if you do not mind, haha ..... My question is, I am considering to buy some of football trading cards. But, I need to know which brand are good for me to begin with.

So, do you mind to make a list of brand names that are good or bad trading cards for me to begin with as my first trading football cards.

P.S. I don't mind to know some of your tips about your experience in trading cards, too.

well i started off with 2002 topps i liked them because they were cheap ( around 2 dollars) so you could get used to the players that you would want to collect and you get a few rookies a pack!!!

So... i would definetly reccomend topps

I really like Playoff Prestige 2005 You get 2 RC's per pack in most cases alsothere are a ton of cool inserts inthe set. You also have a chance of getting some real nice GU's. I collect this set personally so you cantrust me when i sayi like it. (Not thatyou can't trust any one else : ) good luck with your choice.

Prestige would be my pick too. A lot of base rookies worth some money. The G/u cards are not top notch but still very good. Plus they also sell Retail boxes at Wal-Mart

Welcome to SCF and the great hobby of collecting cards!

While I can't recommend to you and specific products, I will suggest that you take a look at my guide for beginning collectors, located here:
    https://www.sportscardforum.com/showthread.php?t=94428

It should give you a basic idea of what people on here are talking about.
    Good luck!
    Regards,
    Mike
