    Buddy, I am 16 also but I find time to make my own money and buy my own cards. I never ask for free cards and when I do get them, they are not so hot players either. Everyone starts off at nothing so please stop complaining all the time and grow up...

    P.S. WHEN YOU GET FREE CARDS NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT THEM! JUST BE HAPPY ABOUT WHAT YOU GOT AND START THANKING OTHERS FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING FOR YOU... I WOULD LOVE TO GET A FREE SONNY WEEMS CHROME AUTO AND A BOSH GU, BUT LOOKS LIKE YOU DON'T... I AM SORRY BUT PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE THIS HOBBY REALLY NOT FUN SOMETIMES...

    I normally don't post in a basketball forum, but I read every single post in this thread and I had to post something. When I first started, I had nothing but base as well. I then bought stuff on ebay to get me started. If you can't send first, buy cards on ebay and then show them here on SCF in the show & tell area so we can all have fun. We don't have to send you free cards just because you don't have anything, but kudos to anyone that sent free cards. I understand that it's hard to get started, but once you get that building block of good cards, it's a fun hobby.

    Long story short, do not worry if you just have base right now. Eventually your collection will grow and soon enough it will only get better.
