Good article Karine. So just how is the card market in England, as in is there a notable online source that covers the area in detail?

ill tell you its very hard mate :(
1.) Theres hardly any other traders in england ... so theres hardly ever any bball cards on ebay.co.uk
2.) US - UK shipping costs me a fortune ! the cheapest cost to send a card is $3.00 :(
3.) Theres no websites to buy boxes off based in the UK, so all delivery charges on boxes is like $30.00 +++
4.) No Card Shops, in the whole of the country ... also no shops sell toploaders, penny sleeves etc etc
5.) No Card Shows in the country ... all business has to be done online
6.) No-one to share the hobby with ... as theres hardly any other collectors in england, theres no-one to share the hobby with
So yer its pretty hard :(

I'm not sure how often you go to Germany or have access to get over there but I heard that the trading market is a little better over there because there are a lot of US servicemen and former service men over there and that american football and basketball is very popular over there.
Drug and smoke free trading.

Thanks for all the replies guys!
Collecting in England was very very hard...I'm glad I'm now back in Canada as it's much easier here, I have a card shop in the shopping mall next door to the law firm i work at :) I got to attend a card show in Montreal in march and then this fall (if the money situation sorts itself out) i'll go to the Fall Expo in Toronto :)
