Selling a Collection

Hey All;

I am looking for some opinions on how one should go about selling a collection.

I have approximately 1060 cards in my Ryan Smyth collection and the time has come for me to unload it.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's tough.

Selling individually is always the best way to go (for return) but not very practical in this case (1060 is a lot of cards!)

Your best bet would probably be to sell off any of the real valuable cards one at a time, and then move the rest (base, inserts, lower-end GU and Autos) out in several lots..... unless you can find another Smyth collector who wants to buy the whole thing.

yeah first i would sell any major value cards...or rare cards...then i would look on forums for a fellow Ryan Smyth collector, and see what he/she needs

I have 1060 different Ryan Smyth cards from every year he has had cards. You name it, I pretty much have it.
