I need some advice with a redemption
Hi everyone,
About 5 months ago, I received a redemption for a Crosby SPGU Team Marks /50 BV200.
I called today to ask about the progress and it appears that Crosby hasn't been signing lately. They offered me the option of a replacement and I told them I'd think about it.
Now the thing about these Lettermarks is that traditionally I find they aren't worth as much (in % of BV) as rookies and other cards and they tend to lose their value quickly (as every year SPGU brings a new set of them).
Would it be worth it to take them up on the replacement and ask for Hall, Seguin, Orr or Gretzky in return or does the customer usually lose in these situations?
Let me know,
Matt

Its not something that is easily "replaced" by another card. I have opted for a replacement 3 times so far (Topps, UD and Panini) and without getting into great detail, I will never take that option again (unless the card is never produced or something)
I have never come out on the winning end of a replacement but I have seen others do quite well.
Good Luck which ever way you go !

Sid has signed some of his Marks cards this year. I recall seeing one a couple days ago - it is definitely worth waiting a little bit longer to get. He's an UD spokesman, he will sign the cards.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I'd def give it some more time as well. Understandable frustrating to wait, but I think in the end you'll certainly benefit from the Crosby more then whatever they would use as a "replacement" :)
