Google Docs to keep track of Collection

    Hey everyone!

I'd really like to get a nice spreadsheet going of what I own for Rene Bourque cards and a want list using google docs. I have never attempted this and I have no idea how to really go about it. Is there a way to copy and paste beckett's list of Rene Bourque's and transfer it in to the google docs fairly easily? Also is there an easy template to use that would make this a whole wack load easier for me to keep track of?

Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    -Cody

I have my entire Price & Gorges collections logged in Google Docs.

Instead of Beckett, you can use the SCF Inventory system, which is 100% free. When done adding all the cards to your Inventory, you can save a CSV file to your computer, which then transfers very well to Google Docs.

That's why they pay me the big bucks - the hope for the Inventory system is that it will ultimately rival and surpass Beckett.

1 quick question...When I got to click add to inventory...It adds it then automatically jumps to that set's checklist. Is there a way to prevent this so I can keep adding things to the inventory JUST from the Rene Bourque list??

Not yet, but we will one day. One easy way is to use the middle button on the mouse that on my computer, will open th elink on a new tab. This mean the current tab stay in your list. Now if it's PC then you still have to set it as PC so not a bad idea to open then and then once you have a few just set the PC checkbox and save them. I know I upload image so I do that there.

Once a window is open using the middle button, the item is already created as a trader. If PC you still need to set it if not then you can simply close the tab.

This is the best way for now to always have the list stay still by opening them in other tabs. Deleting using this will also work. Same with any other link.

Also if you collect a player, please use the player indexing page to search for the player you collect and use the "aad to PC" under his name on the left column and this will add a fast PC link on the right menu in My Inevntory section and a link to your stats on that player and a image album if you uploaded images. Those are player collector feature that give you stats and percentage of what you have from this player.
