Toews Card Question
I have this Base card from from 2010 Elite of Jonathan Toews. It's numberes to /499 but mine is XXX/499? Does anyone know what this means? I imagine it's nothing crazy just thought it was unique

I have had a few of those myself. Its just a way to let you know its numbered out of /499 without having a specific number. They will all be that way. One things for sure though.........it take away that "Its his jersey number" inflated pricing. I like it!

Okay I get it. So it's basically just telling you there's /499 of them. It was at my shop for like 2 bucks so grabbed it for 2 bucks plus Hawks are the only hockey I collect so I thought it was interesting. Def right about the jersey # thing, as well as 1 and 499. Anyways thanks for the answer

There were promotional items from Panini at the start of the season (I think from the National Convention) given out to people who open their products as a preview for their hockey (an other sports). All the cards were like that even the Parallels (xxx/100, xx/50, etc). There are other hockey players too like Crosby, Kadri, and Subban.
