The playoff beard cards are the ones with silver/grey lettering by my assumption, considering I only got 4 silver/Greys in my box.

The two cards pictured have zero difference on the back. Matching numbers, codes, etc.

I have 4 cards with the text/picture variant, #2 Paul Mara, #17 Johan Franzen, #41 Jarome Iginla (boo-yah!), and #22 Dan Boyle. Unfortunately #22 is the only one that I also have the normal set card for.

Anyone know anything about this? I know its not any of the rainbow parallel sets, and no other parallels are listed.

So does all the cards in the set has a different variation? I saw two different Gretzky on ebay. This is going to be so hard to get the team set.

Not too bad.. lots of Oilers to pick up for my Oilers OPC team set collection.. The Playoff beard cards will be tougher to pick up, perhaps.. any one know how many of each are in this subset..?

Since you collect Oilers, just wanted to let you know that base card 39 Raffi Torres is pictured with the Oilers. I got for my Canucks team set and I was really surprised. I know he signed with Phoenix but I thought he would still be in a Canucks uniform with the Coyote logo. Or maybe this is the different variation.
