Snake draft is good but we'll need to track the 16 - 20+ hits while live on blog TV. I can see it becoming a "what's left again? thing lol.
What about this - We could do a hit draft too. Just for easy explanation lets say that 4 boxes yield 20 hits.
4 boxes total cost was $240.
Divide by number of slots and add appropriate paypal fees and S/H and supplies.
10 spots - Price/spots = $24 (plus fees etc)
6 spots - Price/spots = $40 (plus fees etc)
Choose your spot, then random via Random.org for draft position and start ripping.
Spot one - your on the clock. Opening packs... Bang! First HIT is yours.
Spot 2 up on the clock - Opening packs... Bang! Second HIT is yours. etc.etc.
There will be roughly 16 - 20 hits (Autoed, GU) and another number of Inserts, Parallels, etc.
Tell me what product, format, and time frame is good for you guys.
Right now I think Saturday night, Sunday night, or Monday night work for me.
Think about the products and how many of each. We can meet in chat or on my blogTV channel to discuss the format just let me know when.
What do you think of this line up?
UFC Title Shot -2 box
UFC 2 - 1 box
Leaf MMA - 1 box
Let me know!
FYI Guys in Canada, I'll ship for the same charge but the Pay Pal fee's are slightly higher. Pay Pal hits sellers a higher % for a currency conversion and cross border charge. We are only talking about $1 to $2. I was checking my Pay Pal records from my Hockey breaks and saw the different charged amounts for my friends up north of the border.

So you dont get to pick your hit? You only get what hit is pulled at your turn?

In a Hit draft that's how it goes. It leaves a little more to fate. This format is probably better to do with more slots to lower the price.
In a snake draft obviously you pick for whats left when your position is up.
It's really up to you guys to let me know what you think is the right format for your break.
I'm just pitching ideas. I'm open to more.
Thanks - Kevin

Money is a little tight at the moment but a snake would be the best way to go about it but it would have to be figured out what would be included (base set, insert piles etc) with what you have you are looking at roughly 20 hits so a four man break would net each person 5 hits and then if you decided to ship base it could get pricey but its an option in order to do out enough picks for a 6 man

Yeah no doubt everything would be described in detail in the break thread.
I can do just about any combination of boxes... just let me know.

I have been in about 50 group breaks on buymmacards.com and no one ever had a problem. You lay the potential picks on the table in front of the cam.
There is no benefit to a group break if we don't pick the cards we want. If I wanted to get four random hits from a box, I would just buy a box.
I'm in for a snake draft, but no others. Also, there should not be more drafters than boxes.

I understand the idea of presenting the cards on camera for the selection. No Problem.
I understand the idea slots/boxes ratio of the break being 1:1 in a Snake Draft. In other formats I would not agree that ratio is necessary.
Lets agree it will be a snake draft.
Now lets define the product's:
Any interest in adding a box of Knockout for this? Let me see what I can do.
