Question about keeping/storing a signed baseball
last night at the giants game got mike stanton to sign my omlb...went straight back into the tissue wrap and box the ball came in. took it out today to put it in a ball cube, but in all of my cases, the case pressed against the ball, luckily i removed the ball before marks were left.
so i just wrapped it in tissue and the tissue wrap and put it back in the cardboard box it came in. is this a safe place to store it? i dont plan to touch the ball or take it out for a while. will this be a fine place to keep it?

Turn it a little so the balls laces are one the cube-that's what I do.

but then the laces get pressed against as well right? will it be fine in the box?

It's fine in the box, just don't expose it to direct light.

Congrats on your IP Stanton. I got him last year at the player gate, but only on a '10 Topps Marlins card. Where in the park did you get him?
If you decide to put your ball back in the cube, they do protect against UV light but still keep it away from the light.

got him in the tunnel right outside the locker room. i was the only one there, and i called to him as he went out to bp, but he said he had to get out for bp. then on his way back, i was still there with only one other person, i called to him and he came and signed, for only me though, i was very happy

buy a ballcube that has a built-in stand that hold the ball up. Gives it plenty of room to move, the only one i use to display mine.

Buy a UV protected cube from Ultra Pro. It will have a built-in stand and leave the ball plenty of room. That's all I use for my HOF ball collection.
