QUESTION does beckett honor their older labels

if you was to send a old label bccg graded card into beckett for reslabbing , do they give it the same grade it had before ?? lets say the case is damaged with scratches and what not but the card is fine , so all you want is a new case and would this affect the value of the card

example 2000 bowman tom brady rc BCCG 10

if sent for reslabbing would a BGS 10 be worth more and will beckett give it the 10 it originally had ??

BCCG and BGS are completely different in terms of grading. No the grade would not carry over.

bccg and bgs are from the same company but the criteria from bccg and bgs are the difference, bccg is more of a visual type grading while bgs is under microscope and white glove procedure, thats probably the easiest way to describe it

A BCCG 10 card is more like a BGS 9 card.

BCCG is Beckett's inexpensive grading service. It is usually used as a cheap way to get an unimportant card graded and put in a holder. BGS is Beckett's premium grading service and the grading is much more stringent.

"Re-slabbing" a BCCG card means it goes back into a BCCG holder with the grade it had. Getting a BCCG slabbed card into a BGS holder means submitting it from scratch to be graded by the BGS graders. BCCG grading varies greatly, so a BCCG 10 could score anywhere from an 8 to a 9.5 if it were graded by BGS graders.

I've seen a BCCG grade as low as a BGS 7 before. My best advice is DO NOT buy BCCG cards.
