is there anyone else that collects base cards ? i still enjoy it...it seems like everyone wants autos jersey cards...i know they flooded the market with some stuff but i like the old classic and four sport and the old insert sets..seems like some of it still carries a little value... i think that then it was actually geared for kids..i guess ill stay a kid forever :)

I am with you man. I like base cards. Hell I like any card that I dont have of the players/teams that I collect.. But yeah most people only want auto/gu which sucks as I have basically been turned off of the GU scene.

i love base and other non-autographed and non-GU cards...base cards are actually some of the coolest cards made, at least pic-wise. I like seeing new base cards of my fav players (mostly current Pacers), especially since most of the guys I collect now don't consistently have autos or GU cards made in every product. I don't mind base at all, but they are going down the drain in the hobby.
