I think Magic is a more manageable level for him to try to ascend to, Jordan is just out of his league

Yeah, I even find the Magic and Lebron comparisons very insulting as well. I mean Magic was a true facilitator that really wanted get everybody involved, but when the Lakers needed him to score, he'll deliver and not shy away from the moment. Lebron on the other hand, when he passes the ball, it seems like he's just afraid to shoot.

I think we can all agree that Lebron will never be greater then Jordan, but still, I think this is a very nice video to share:

Jordan led the league three times in steals per game and not only was elected to the All-Defensive 1st team 9 times, but was also voted the Defensive Player of the year. Also is 2nd on the steals list behind John Stockton.

5. Michael Jordan
MJ is definitely not the best defensive player to ever play the game. But given his will to win, and inability to accept losing, are probably the driving factors in his success as a defender. The intensity with which MJ played defense was motivating. He literally made playing defense and shutting down opponents ‘cool’ for guards. In the modern game, Josh Smith and Lebron James are often on highlight reels for hustling back on defense and erasing mistakes by blocking wide-open opposition lay-ups off the backboard. Well you can thank MJ for that, as he basically invented those highlights. MJ was the NBA’s defensive player of the year in 1988, and has the record 9 times on the NBA All-defensive First Team. Jordan is also second to only John Stockton on the All-time Steals list with 2,514 career steals.
Lebron was embarrassed repeatedly through out the finals by JJ. He also had trouble guarding DeShawn Stevenson. If he was so good, they would of put him on Dirk.

Lebron is a great player in the league today no question. He may some rebounding edge but thats because he has some good size on jordan. No doubt jordan was the greatest ever and most likely will be for maybe as long as basketball is played. Jordan was a better scorer just as capable probably better defender. In the big moments when the big games were important Jordan stepped up and dominated like only he could. Lebron has done what in big games? He has done nothing from the celtics series last season to the finals. And to those that say hes such a great defender, Jason terry called him out and dared him to guard him for 7 games and what happened? The game after that and the next two terry got his and while lebron was defending him. Jordan would have shut terry down if he got challeneged. Lebron has been compared to jordan since before he even played an NBA game. I think its crazy to think he is anywhere close to jordan like especially right now. Jordan is and will be the best ever

Pretty well said.
Lebron is better overall and has more talent.
IMO I rather have Kobe in his prime then Jordan in his prime.
Also imo i rather have Jordan then Lebron. Nothing against Lebron. I dislike him. But hey he is great! Really just all our opinons!
