Hey folks I ran across this website where they sell signed bookplates. It was cool to see some of the names who have signed bookplates like Anne Rice, Debbie Reynolds, Bob Dole, Tom Clancy, Oliver North, Leonard Nemoy, Gladys Knight and Ed Koch are a few that jumped at me. It seems the autographed bookplates are cheap as they all look to run $20 or less and to me that might be a cheap and easy way to add to your nonsports collection. That is unless you want to try to get them yourself as well. I have gotten a fair number of authors to send autographed bookplates for free after an email request.
