    Okay, Panini, why Kassian?

Why the heck is Matt Kassian the only Wild rookie in their Rookie Ticket set for Contenders? Out of all the rookies they could've chosen: Falk, Noreau (on second thought, his auto is terrible), Wellman, Almond, Prosser and especially Spurgeon and Scandella...you choose Kassian?!?!?! He only ever got one shot on goal in the few games he was up! I can understand if they only had room for one Wild rookie...but Kassian was just a bad call. Well...that's my rant for the year, can anyone else feel my pain?

Yes. I got wild in a Contenders group break.

    Guess which Auto was pulled?

It could be worse I suppose. He could have pulled a bag of pucks. Then my shipping would have been way high.

Don't get me wrong, I'll still collect it or trade for it (hint hint ), but I think there's obviously much better kids playing for the Wild that they could've used.

Hint received. Feel free to send me a PM, but its not in hand yet and with the Strike in Canada, it may be a while.

I agree with the sentiment of the player quality as well. I just checked his proflie on wiki.

During the month of November 2010 Kassian played four games for the Minnesota Wild, collecting 12 minutes in penalties and no points, with only a single shot on goal.[3] By December he was back in Houston.

    Inspiring.

But he at least got a NHL tryout while I've got his card. So, he gets the last laugh.

    Cheers,

Why rant was on the fact that Brandon Yip was not in Pinnacle when Mercier and Oliver where both in the set. I don't get this? I don't even know if the two play combined played more than 5-10 games in the season and they drop Yip when he was true roster player.

He wasn't performing well, but who on the Avs were really this year.

Some of the blame can fall on the wild for having pretty crappy rookies this year. So it goes...its been a rough year for the Wild.

O that the days of Granlund the Great would come, eh? Can't wait to watch that kid score in iron range red!
