Canada Post Strike?
Was that message sent out in error? It said a strike would begin May 2nd. I find that could be wrong, because a couple of weeks ago I received mail from Canada. But I am also missing a card from a trade, and the person not long after sent me $ in return for the fact that the card went lost.
Should that message have said June 2nd?

Yes that was a typo on my part. Apologies for the confusion, everybody, should have read June 2nd.

what does this mean for sending to Canadian traders? Should we hold off until the strike is over?

It's not a strike on the whole system.
It starts with Winnipeg for 24 hours and then moves on to another city.
Worst case scenario, shipping will be delayed for a couple of days but not suspended.

For now they're employing rolling strikes. If things don't go smoothly for a couple more days I have no doubt it'll become a general strike.
