    Grading Questions

I have never sent in a card to be graded... what is the process, how does it work... i have a couple cards that i would like to send in, if not for a great grade, at least for additional protection... the cards that i would be sending in are a 1964 Mantle, a 1969 Mantle, and a Ripken Fleer rookie...

Are there any reservations that you guys have with sending in cards to be graded? are there any risks involved? Who has the most reliable grading service between PSA and BGS?

Any information you can give me would be helpful... thanks!

Have you looked in this forum at old threads:

To answer your questions, you send your card in the way the grading company tells you (their instructions are pretty specific). Send it in with a form, and they mail your cards back to you. PSA and BGS are the 'big two', so you should be fine with them. If your cards are in totally awesome shape, a good grade with BGS will mean a higher value.
