Bruins’ Ference isn’t your typical hockey player

VANCOUVER — Long after his Boston Bruins teammates had made their way back to their dressing room following the team’s media availability at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium on Thursday, Andrew Ference stood alone.
It wasn’t the first time and judging from what we know of the Edmonton-born defenceman, it certainly won’t be the last.

If only he could put as much effort into his play as he does recycling his Sprite cans. He'll be on the the ice contributing to every Vancouver goal tonight.
