    Hidden treasure should've stayed hid

Well my nephew was over and asked if he could have some of my base cards so I said sure. I was looking through them with himwhen I spotted a rookie from UD MVP, I thought I took all those out of there. Upon closer inspection I realized that it wasn't some crap player that gets 5 minutes of field time each season, it was Deion freakin Branch! But wait...

I went to Beckett to check up on it and figured it was the gold version, as the foil looks gold to me. The BV on the gold was $25-$60, which would've made it my most valuable card, I was skeptical. Upon checking Ebay for 2002 MVP I found out the gold are numbered and all I have is a $1/2.50 base card.

I wouldn't mind some much if I was a Branch or Patriots fan (even though he's in a Cardinals uniform). Well I'm just ranting a bit here. I'm sure some of you share my annoyance.

Haha. Yes, I like the title too.
Yes, the gold cards are serial numbered (on the front I think).
