First off, the reason for not taking pictures at the autograph stage is to allow everyone to get through the line in the time the guests are there. Which makes sense to me. If everyone took the time to take a picture of everyone who was signing, there is no way you could get everyone through the line. I have attended several signings/shows for various sports that have similar rules. The fact they also offer a seperate photo ops with the guests (which will also be signed by the guests)gives the fan a chance to have their picture with the talent and not some quick random shot of the top of their head signing the items.

The limiting the items to 2 per person is more then fair to allow the everyone a chance to get their stuff signed. Why should 2 or 3 people be allowed to monopolize the guests time because they want say 100 8x10's signed each?

Your comment that "so an intern can sign it" is inane. The promoter in question has an impecible reputation in this field.

The website says if you want more than 2. I am not saying for someone to take up the whole time BUT when the promoter is advertising the fact if you want more that is different. They should have a separate signing for people with multiple items Not "drop your stuff off on Friday & get it back Sunday"

I do see your point. I assume these are signed when the guests do the mail order stuff to be signed. I know that he has had pictures that show the guests signing those items in the past.
