    $70 for which year? 08-09? Upper deck has a few nice boxes.

    Any year from 08-09 What would be the best choice? Oh yea I was looking at boxes and Hot Prospects boxes have went through the roof! They use to be 60 now they're 200 dollars?! Wow.

    Its also has to do with inventory. As boxes get sold and broken apart, they become harder and harder to find and the rookies keep doing better and start making a name for themselves so demand goes up and supply goes down and the price goes higher. If you go to blowout cards, they only have a few 08-09 boxes left and most of them are retail boxes, not hobby. A few months ago they had a lot more on hand.

    scan ebay and watch for deals that slip through. Find items listed at $0.99 and no reserve. Then put in a low bid just so you will get notified when bids are placed. Wait for a good deal to come along and maybe you will get lucky.

    prices for everything usually cools off in the offseason... 08 09 stuff will be expensive because of derrick rose for awhile, even til the start of next year most likely
