Vanguard Printing Plate?
I just bought this item off ebay. I don't see this card in the SCF inventory but I decided to take my chances. Here is the item in question if anyone has any info on it plmk, wondering if it's a 1/1 and if these were inserted in packs, things like that, any info would help

I really have no clue what it is, I'm hoping it's a 1/1 but not too sure, figured I could take my chances since I snagged it pretty cheap. If there is anyone who can confirm this theory?

Plates not inserted in packs. From the stock of Pacific Trading Cards when they closed their doors. Few years before, Pacific began to directly sell plates to collectors, via eBay and directly by calling them on the phone (I bought around 10 printing plates sets). It worth in 2011 what you think it worth.

Yes 1/1s, but who really knows if Pacific Trading Cards only had 1 set of plates per card in their backstore; in printing production runs if a printing sheet is damaged manufacturer will make another one to replace the damaged printing sheet. It is comparable to 1/1s from card shows, you won't see a checklist anywhere, or any certitude about how many released. Moreover Pacific is dead... So buy it for your collection, but don't pay a fortune for cards that will never be on any checklist (SCF, Beckett, etc.).

I think it's a pretty cool and unique piece for only like 8 bucks

For 8 bucks why not take a chance, especially with Thornton
