Hey everyone,
I just recently got back into collecting basketball cards. When I was a kid I always wanted to start a collection but my parents would never buy me any packs because they thought it was dumb as hell. Well here I am, older and a few more quarters in my pocket so I purchased my first 3 boxes a few weeks ago. I had no idea about the difference between hobby/retail, this set vs that set, patch vs jersey. Needless to say I cheaped out and got the 09-10 season updates and didn't get much.
2 days ago I picked up two 09-10 Crown Royale boxes and got my first decent hits which were a Tyreke Evans /399 and my favorite Kobe Prime Patch 5/10
Also picked up two 10-11 Absolute Memo boxes and scored a pretty sweet Mark Price Jumbo Jersey /49.
Need to say... I'm hooked lol I feel like I'm living my childhood dream all over again
My next triumph is going to be a case of the 10-11 Panini Total Certified
