Let me say this first and foremost...
I'm not saying you shouldn't buy these cards because I think they are fake.
I think you shouldn't buy these cards because they just look bad.
Elway - This is probably the worst printing of a card i've ever seen. I could sit here and count the dots on the card (not saying it's fake, just a god awful printing). All of my 56 Topps cards look better than that and they were printed 30 years before the Elway.
Rice - The cut is disgusting! Hope you weren't being asked for much for this card. By looking at your pic, it is about 100/0 top to bottom and it looks like the whole sheet was rotated about 3-5 degrees before it was cut. Also, if you look at the top edge, the stripes that run behind the picture of Rice start small at the top and then get larger half way between the edge and the pic. Not saying it's fake, just a bad card.

Oh the top/bottom centering is just a bad scan, the bottom is there you just cant see it. However the rest of it I understand your point of view. Had been comtemplating more on the Rice than the Elway anyways. Thanks for your input though, it's been helpful.
