Hey, I'm sure this question has been asked many times over the years, but is there a rough guess on how many Young Guns get produced every year. Has it been mentioned before?

Is it around two-three thousand or would we be looking at more then that. Also if my memory serves correct, there is more Series 2 produced than Series 1.

I would say 10,000+ on average from 02/03 - 10/11.

This would be not including the SPs from 02/03 and 03/04 ( the higher tier rookies ) and 10/11 Series 2 ... I believe they put out less Series 2 this year than previous Series 1 or 2 releases from any other years

I have 1000+ 08/09 and 750+ of 07/08
so the number of 10,000 IS WAY LOW

They're talking PER player and yes 10000 is a very accurate number with a couple exceptions such as 05-06 where it was closer to 15000.

Its actually pretty close. If you average 6 exclusives per case and there are 72 ygs in a case.

250 cards in the set x 100 copies of each exclusive = 25000 total exclusives

25000/6 per case = approx 4167 cases of series 1

4167 x 72 (ygs per case) = 300,024 total ygs

300,024 / 50 in the set = 6000 of each player

add in retail which probably has 3-5000 and the ten thousand estimate is fairly accurate.

yeah 10,000 seems like a fair number, 100,000 almost seemed like we were entering Lindros rookie territory lol.

Anyways thanks for the replies I just wanted to know because I knew there were 999 artifacts produced, plus the different rainbows. As well as 699 Sp Game Used rookies. So I just wanted to figure a rough number on the young guns.
