Simple and easy as I was told to do this from a Rogers serviceman. Phoned Rogers this morning and told them that a competitor was offer me a good deal to switch over. Asked if they would do anything to keep me as a customer. Within 5 minutes I got 20% off my cable and internet bill for a year.

Turns out it is cheaper for them to give a discount then trying to sign up a new customer.
